Naming NotesSince our phage was discovered on the beautiful campus of Marist College, we chose to name it after one of our favorite local spots just off campus. Both of us were drawn to Marist when we were recruited to play soccer for the Red Foxes, and this particular location holds special meaning—it's the home of our older teammates, situated on West Cedar Street. This place is significant to us because it's where we’ve shared countless team bonding dinners and spent weekends hanging out together.
