This sample was collected from the lawn of Clapp Hall at the University of Pittsburgh during the 2025 spring semester. It was found in an open, unshaded area that got direct sunlight, and was surrounded by grass. The soil sample itself was a dark brown, muddy, dense and clumped together.
Naming NotesWe decided to name our phage "Wiggle" by randomly generating words and selecting our favorite.
