Discovery NotesThe sample that contained our phage was found four blocks off of the Gonzaga campus in the Logan neighborhood in the front yard of Janel's home. We found that the soil was moist and contained much organic material such as worms and grass.
Naming NotesThis name was suggested to us by our professor. It made us both happy every time we said the name. We both agreed that it would be a perfect name for our phage.

Plaque NotesWe found that the tail appeared to be a bit thicker and the capsid to be large relative to the tail. These qualities would lead us to believe that our phage is a Myoviridae morphotype. However, we only had one phage in our image so we can not confidently conclude that it is myoviridae and not siphoviridae.
