Naming NotesXIBALBA MEANS "PLACE OF FRIGHT". IT IS THE NAME OF THE UNDERWORLD IN MAYA MYTHOLOGY, WHICH WAS RULED BY THE MAYA DEATH GODS. MY REASONING FOR CHOOSING THIS NAME WAS THAT I WANTED A NAME THAT WAS UNIQUE AND PART OF MY LATINO HERITAGE AND CULTURE.

I ALSO BELIEVE THAT ITS MEANING WOULD REPRESENT MY BACTERIOPHAGE WELL SINCE MY BACTERIOPHAGE IS SUPPOSED TO KILL THE BACTERIA BY MAKING THEM BURST OR LYSE.
