Discovery NotesThe sample was located at the BIOCHM South building corner entrance on University Street. The sample was collected at the base of the corner tree six inches from the sidewalk. The soil was initially one inch below the surface. The soil was dry, grainy, and rocky. It resembled a dirt powder with lots of dust. The plot was shaded with a slight breeze at 71 degrees Fahrenheit.
