| Discovery Notes | A soil sample was collected in September from the Mount St. Mary's University campus. The phage was isolated from soil by enrichment culturing at 25°C. The soil was from under a tree , about 2-3 cm deep, and it was shaded from sun exposure. The soil was dry and a light brown color soil. |
