Discovery NotesWe collected our soil sample right outside of the University of Colorado's Porter science building. The soil that we collected our sample was very close to a tree and grass, but it was taken from a spot that had no grass on it. The soil was slightly moist, and was dark brown in color.
Naming NotesWe named our phage Zynnie because we thought it sounded cool and unique. This name is easily distinguishable from other phage names which can help researchers tell our phage apart from others.
