Discovery NotesThe phage was found on a sunny day right off a trail near a bridge over the river on Ouachita Baptist University's campus. The soil was dry with slight moisture in deeper regions with very little grass.
Naming NotesThroughout my life, my dad, who is a scientist himself, has sent me memes of Chuck Norris. This phage was named for him.
