Discovery NotesThe sample was collected on Merrimack colleges campus near the academic building, Mendel. The condition of the soil was a little dry, with some hints of wet soil, but more dry than wet. The soil was also very grainy.
Naming NotesWe named our phage Cats, because of the beginning letters of our names. We also each have cats, so we thought it was a good name!

Plaque NotesOur phage was given to us by our professor, AR13. The plaques were very clear, with larger cloudy patches around them, looking like little fried eggs. Although there were some phage in the plate that were just clear and had no cloudy patches.
