| Discovery Notes | Phage Pygmy was isolated from a soil sample collected at 4:35 pm CDT on Tuesday August 22, 2023 from near the edge of the pool at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, USA. The location was well covered with green grass. The hole that was dug was 8cm wide and 4cm deep, and 5g of soil from it was ultimately used. The soil was dark, damp and loose. The weather was sunny with a temperature of 39.4°C. |
