Discovery NotesIsoalted using mixed culture method.
Approximately 40 ml PYCa and 4 ml of 48 h culture of mixed Arthrobacter culture (Arthrobacter globiformis, Arthrobacter atrocyaneous (NRRL-B-2883), Arthrobacter sulfureus (NRRL B1-4730) and Arthrobacter sp. (ATCC 21022)) was added to the soil sample and incubated at 30°C for 48 hrs. Supernatant was collected afterwards and filtered to produce the lysate.
