Discovery NotesVirus was discovered in soil near the shore of Lake Overholser. The ambient temperature of the soil obtained was 23°C. The soil contained a significant amount of red clay and was observed to be wet, but not fully saturated with water. Part of the dry, topsoil was obtained, as well as the next half inch of moist soil. The sample was obtained at approximately 7:36 am on August 28, 2018.
