Discovery NotesThe soil I collected was quite dry on the surface but after a little digging, it was a little damp. I was able to collect with my bare hands. It did have a few pieces of rock in it but majority soil. The color was very dark and the texture felt very smooth.
Naming NotesThe lab partner I was paired with worked on this phage with me initially so we combined letters from our name to create the name Isheemi. Our birth months are 7 for July and 8 for August so we added the numerals 7 and 8 to Isheemi to name the phage Isheemi78.
