Discovery NotesA soil sample was collected outside of the Porter Bioscience building in Boulder, Colorado (GPS coordinates: 40° 0’ 32.237” N, 105° 16’ 8.854” W) on August 11th, 2019 at 10:30am with the temperature at 65°F. The sample was collected under a bush which was covered by the shadow of the Porter building.

Plaque Notescloudy plaques with halo like figure surrounding each plaque, indicating a temperate phage. When isolated, each plaque was around 2mm in diameter. When EM pictures were taken, the tail ranged from 350nm-300nm and an average head size of 70nm. This indicated that it was a Siphoviridae phage.
