Discovery NotesSoil Sample was taken on August 24, 2023 at 7:16 pm when air temperature was 28°C. It was in shade of woods near walking trail, so it was moist and contained some organic material. Recent weather at that time was very hot and humid.
Naming NotesThe nickname given to me by my high school swim teammates was "Big Rik" so I named this phage after that.

Plaque NotesThere were two morphologies of plaques observed: smaller pinpricks and larger circles. The total range in plaque size was 1-4 mm. All were turbid, but the larger circles had a halo effect with a slightly more clear center. They exhibited some density dependency, with the more prevalent plaque morphology depending on the concentration.
