Discovery NotesI collected the soil sample from under a bush near Coplay Creek at the point where it runs along the Ironton Rail Trail. I dug about 1.5 in into the damp soil. There were many dead leaves above the soil. The ambient temperature was 37 °F and the weather was cloudy. There were dead roots in the collected sample.
Naming NotesThe phage was named after the song, "Mirrorball", from Taylor Swift's album Folklore.
