Discovery NotesFound in the shady, damp NW corner of Baker Hall on University of Colorado at Boulder. Sample consisted of the lower layer of mulch underneath tanbark.
Naming NotesWe named our phage FatCat for its large plaques and because of the seemingly bipolar nature with which it changed plaque morphologies, behavior akin to that of a cat.

Plaque NotesWe saw varied plaque morphologies throughout our experiments. While obviously temperate in nature, in many instances the plaques appeared lytic. These events appear to correlate with he temperature and age of our samples prior to plating, however nothing is conclusive. Data was collected from each experiment, including source age in incubator or refrigerator, and what the sample was taken from (I.E. Lysate or plate scrape).
