Discovery NotesThis was 1 foot away from Hurricane Lake. There was lots of vegetation around the extraction site. There was many roots and twigs in the dirt sample collected. The soil was damp and dark brown.
Naming NotesWe named our phage the "party" phage, because we believe that finding a scientific discovery should be fun and celebrated. We also made the joke throughout the extraction process how our phage was having a continuous party because ever since we had the first plaque, we never stopped getting plaques.
