Discovery NotesThis sample was taken from an outdoor garden bed in my community. I dug about 2 inches down and then retrieved around 1/2 pound of dirt. The soil was moist, but not wet at the time of retrieval. The soil was a dark brown and was a fine consistency. There were small roots and rocks in the sample. Plenty of phages because it’s dirty soil.
