Discovery NotesThe soil sample chosen was behind the pond by Benedictine University. I chose this spot due to the location being close to school and curiosity if pulling a sample near an aquatic environment would contribute to success in extracting a phage. I wanted to pick a spot where the soil was in shade for half the day and in sunlight for half the day where the dirt wasn’t too dry or too moist. I retrieved the soil at roughly 11:45 on a sunny day.
Naming NotesI chose this name from the idea of my professor, Dr. Smith. Many times through my experiment, I would rush through, while maintaining well results. I was jokingly called trouble and decided to call my phage name that.
