Discovery NotesThe sample was collected from a vegetable garden at 6:21PM. The current temperature was 96°F with 26% humidity. The soil was dry, but slightly damp, most likely from the garden being water as it had not rained recently and there was a layer of mulch over the soil. I dug about an inch down with a disposable plastic spoon and put the soil into a plastic Ziploc bag.
Naming NotesI chose to name this phage Annabeth after the character Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson book series because she was my childhood hero and she showed me how girls can be smart and strong at the same time.
