Discovery Notes | Soil was collected from underneath the grass that lines the side of the sidewalk leaving Hughes. Soil was taken from about 2-4 inches beneath the grass and was wet from the sprinklers that water the grass. |
Naming Notes | We decided to name our phage "BabyBean" because our plaques were consistently smaller than all the other groups in our lab so we wanted to name it something with "small" or "baby" in the title. |

Plaque Notes | Our plaques were consistently very small ranging from 0.5 millimeters to 3 millimeters. They also were not cloudy or fuzzy on the edges but rather they were fairly clear and easy to make out. |
