Discovery NotesSample was collected from a patch of soil surrounded by grass. Taken from surface soil on a cloudy day; 17.8 degrees C. Soil was fairly moist.
Naming NotesIt seemed early on that the phage was rather virulent, so Badboyz was an appropriate name. Additionally, it was one of the only bacteriophages from multiple lab sections that was able to grow in conditions of 37 degrees C.
