Discovery Notes | The sample was collected August 31st, 2021. The soils was taken from around an inch or two deep in a grassy area. It was not a shaded area but most likely well watered. It was later in the summer so it was still fairly warm and sunny. The soil was relatively soft and easy to collect. |
Naming Notes | We named out phage after Bob Ross to be a bit humorous because both our phage and Bob Ross are tall, skinnier, and have a bit of an afro. |
