Discovery Notes | The park soil sample was taken from an elevated enclosure of plants in an urban area. The soil was surrounded by different flowers and plants and a fenced ring approximately 6 cm in height enclosed the plants. There were bees surrounding the plants during the time when the soil was retrieved. The soil was retrieved at 7:00 PM near the edge of the park. |
Naming Notes | The name came from a type of bread called brioche bread. It is a rich bread and it looks round just like our phage plaque morphology. |
Sequencing Information | |
Sequencing Complete? | No |
Genome length (bp) | Unknown |
Character of genome ends | Unknown |
Fasta file available? | No |

Plaque Notes | The titer of our phage was 1.8375 x 10^9 pfu/mL. The phage plaque morphology reveal a consistent pattern of small clear plaques. This means that our phage is most likely a lytic phage. |
