Discovery NotesWe discovered a phage outside of St. Aloysius Church in the dirt. The dirt was soft and wet without rocks. This phage grows at a remarkable rate, with occasionally eating the whole bacterial plate within a week. We discovered that in order to further cultivate our phage, we needed to work faster than the average group. We also discovered that our phage grows at 37 degrees Celsius which is body temperature. Our phage is not a K cluster phage.
Naming NotesThis phage is kind of like a super phage in that it grows very fast and is able to take over a plate of bacteria in less than a week.
