Discovery NotesPhage was found in my elevated pepper garden, which was supplemented in the spring with natural organic compost. Genomic DNA was sequenced on a ONT Minion, R10.4.1 chemistry. The sequence assembled into one contig of 51,608bp with 87% query cover, 93.76% identity to Endor2.
Naming Notes'ChiliPhepper' alludes to the place the phage was discovered and my favorite band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The adaptation to have 'Phepper' instead of 'Pepper' is to intregrage the 'phage' into the name.
