Discovery NotesI collected soil from Northwest Denton Texas. The temperature was 97 degrees Fahrenheit and it was extremely dry from a lack of rain and high temperatures. The location was in a patch of grasses and trees, both of which were extremely dry as well. The soil was extremely dry and crumbly.
