Discovery Notes | The soil sample was taken from underneath a dead bush behind the Foley Library on the campus of Gonzaga University. The soil was somewhat moist, as it was raining outside at the time of the discovery. |
Naming Notes | Our class selected a Disney theme for all the new phage names, so we chose Dalmatians101. We felt that the name reflected how our plates created a large number of plaques, as dalmatians have many spots. |
