Discovery Notes- Soil found beneath red woodchips, about two inches deep into the soil.
- Soil was damp but not entirely moistened through. About eight hours after a very light rainfall
- The area receives rain fairly regularly, however in August, when discovered, the amount of rainfall lacked slightly.
- The soil taken was near the roots of Dahlia flowers that were planted there in the late spring/ early summer by my mother.
- This area receives full sun daily with direct sunlight hitting at this point for most hours within the day.
Naming NotesDandy was named for its appearance in the EM image, for it looks like a dandelion. Also, this phage is bold like a lion, creating large, clear plaques.
