Discovery NotesThe soil sample was found about 1.5 inches deep in a small planter box that was covered with 2 inches of wood chips and various flowering perennial plants. The soil was dry and had a few stones. The sample was recovered on Wednesday, September 19th at around 9:30 pm. At the time the sample was collected, the temperature was about 15.56 degrees Celsius.
Naming NotesMy friends say my face is shaped like an egg and therefore they call me egg. I named my greatest friend in the world bean. So together, Eggbean.

Plaque NotesAfter the third round of purification, the morphology was the same. Eggbean’s morphology ranged from 1mm plaques to 1.2 mm plaques. The average plaque was about 1.1 mm in diameter. The plaques were usually about 0.5 cm apart from each other, and were aggregated in some areas, and spread out and isolated in others. The plaques were more cloudy than clear in observation. This concluded that Eggbean was most likely a temperate phage.
