Discovery NotesOur sample was collected by a flowerbed next to grass on Gonzaga University's campus. We picked that specific spot since it was close to a flowerbed, which was different from the other sample spots chosen. As a whole, we would like to discover a new phage in order to advance bacteriophage research efforts.
Naming NotesWe named our phage Ethel because we see it as an old lady, meaning that our phage always produces results, but never above and beyond.
