Naming Notes | This phage is named after my great-grandmother, Evelyn Jossie. Her nickname was EvJos. She was a science teacher and an inspiration to her students and family. My family and friends have also given me this nickname and it serves as a reminder of the powerful female scientists that came before and the legacy that I get to continue. |
