Discovery NotesThe sample came from a garden. The soil was dark, moist and soft, suggesting a rich environment for bacteria. Genomic DNA was sequenced on an ONT Minion using R10.4.1 chemistry. The sequencing reads assembled into two contigs. The longest contig was 16,844 bp, which showed ~60% coverage and 0 E-value alignments to the FR cluster phages Annabelle and Neuvillette. The second contig was shorter and likely represents an unresolved terminal region or an area of low read depth.
Naming NotesAdopted bacteriophage from teaching assistant, name is a combination of both student and teaching assistant's name.
