Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected from the garden behind the chapel out front of the McShain bridge. The area has trees, bushes, and flowers growing and is close to a concrete wall that separates the St. Joseph’s University campus from the street of city line avenue. The soil was slightly saturated because it had just rained the night before which softened the soil. The humidity was 82% at the time of collection.
Naming NotesFather Marcus was discovered in the garden behind the Saint Joseph's University Chapel. We named him Father, as we knew of a Father Mark and wanted our phage to live out his religious origin.
