Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected on a space between vines and small shrubs. The soil was under about 5 cm wide sparse moss. Its color is close to black and slightly damped. The weather the day collected is sunny with a temperature about 90°F.
Naming NotesIt's a combination of my parents' names - Fly refers to the translated meaning of her mother's last name from Chinese and Fish refers to my father's homophonic last name translated from Chinese. The name is to thank them for leading me into the world of biology and for their selfless support
