Plaque Notes | The plaques are round and are darkly shaded in comparison to the surrounding bacteria. The plaques possess a small, slightly lighter dot in their center that the darker exterior surrounds in a ring-like structure. In comparison to other discovered phages found on the online phage database, the plaques are relatively large in size and dark in color. The discoloration of the plaques is slightly more distinct than experimental comparison. |
