Discovery NotesWe suspect that our phage is a K phage because when we performed a test in class, our phage did not grow on a K lysate. This indicates that it has the same genome as a K phage, therefore preventing phage growth. Our phage is also unique in that it grows at room temperature and at 37 degrees Celsius. It's not extremely aggressive, and its morphology is characterized by small plaques that often clump together into larger plaques.
Naming NotesWe named our phage HenryVIII after our favorite monarch in European history.
