Discovery Notes | When I discovered my phage, it took place behind my school where I collected soil near the bushes. It was 71°F and sunny on this day as well. This soil itself was a dark brown color, which was clumpy and very moist, but not too wet. The soil depth was 1-2 inches from the surface. The texture of the soil was not clay like or dry, but rather soft and mushy, which is great quality. |
Naming Notes | The name for my phage came from my favorite kpop idol, Jung Hoeseok, a member of a popular kpop group known as BTS. Most fans either call him Jhope, or Hobi. |
