Naming Notes | Imp48 has three components that lead to its name. Imp refers to the "impish" qualities of the virus, sometimes showing one plaque, sometimes showing two. In this way it had somewhat of a mischievous personality. 48 refers to the fact that it takes 48 hours for the two different plaque types to show. Imp also is my grandfather's nickname and he always encouraged my love of science |
