Discovery NotesThis phage was found in a flower bed between a tree and lamp post outside Whitecar Hall's main entrance on the USciences campus. At the time when it was found, the soil was very saturated (likely due to melting snow). It was found approximately 2ft away from the closest tree. The area receives moderate sun exposure throughout the day.
Naming NotesI love musical theatre and music in general. The last show I saw in New York with my best friend before lockdown was Jagged Little Pill, which also happens to be one of my favorite pop-rock albums. I named this phage after the show and album, but I wanted to put a Philly spin on it.

Plaque NotesExperimental results showed only one type of plaque present in the samples. The size of the phage could not be determined as gel electrophoresis procedures did not yield useful results. On plates, it displayed as large and clear following incubation, suggesting it is not turbid.
