Discovery NotesFound in dark, moist soil in a shady area behind a bush. There were some plants found in the area.
Naming NotesLooking at the EM picture, the phage looks like a little microphone with a little dip in its capsid that resembles a mouth. Janet is my mom's name so I added a fun twist, with Janet Jackson in tribute to its musical characteristics.
