Discovery Notes | Northwest corner of Welch Residence Hall. Sample was collected near an outdoor electrical box, next to a flower bed and maple tree. The soil sample had very little debris, with only a few small pieces of leaves in it. |
Naming Notes | Our lab decided to name all our phages after Disney related things. We both love watching basketball, and it is usually on ESPN, which is owned by Disney. We decided to base our name after the basketball player Jason Tatum, but switch out part of his last name to include the p and h from "phage" |
