Discovery NotesThe soil was found next to a stone statue with clumps of moss at the base on September 12th, 2018 at 9:30 am. The soil was chunky and wet because it rained recently, and had a dark brown color to it. The air temperature at the time was 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naming NotesThe Statue that I found my soil sample at was of a famous Mexican Conquistador. And the name of the rider was taken, so I named it after the Spanish word for horse rider
