Discovery NotesWe found this sample close to Lake Arthur on the Gonzaga University campus in Spokane, WA. Since it was January, the soil was mostly frozen and very dark in color - almost black. This soil was right on the edge of the lake, almost touching the lake water.
Naming NotesWe decided to call our phage L.Norris after Lando Norris, the F1 driver, because it grew extremely fast and Lando Norris is fast. We also felt as though the phages personality represented that of Lando Norris.
