Discovery NotesPhage was found in relatively dry topsoil near a chicken coop. From the initial test, it was believed to be lysogenic, as the plaques that would form would still allow some bacterial growth. Bacterial host range experiments were conducted, but phage would only infect Gordonia Terrae.
