Naming NotesMinimah was inspired based on the events occurring in Iran. The name is inspired by Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman in Iran who was recently killed after being taken into the custody of the morality police for not wearing a proper headscarf. Mahsa Amini was turned to "MahMini" and later to "Minimah". Minimah also means small moon in the Persian language which can represent the symbol that Mahsa Amini has become for the Iranian people: hope, resistance, and resilience; just Like the moon that night after night keeps shining its light on a world that is seemingly dark.
