| Discovery Notes | The soil was dug up outside of the Lower Centennial Residence Hall on January 22, 2018. It rained the night before, therefore, the soil was somewhat damp. The soil was a very dark brown and crumbly. 4 spoonfuls of soil were collected. |
| Naming Notes | I chose the name, Mort, referring to the character from the movie, Madagascar. This character is a sugar glider with a long bushy tail. As seen in my EM picture, it is evident that my phage has a long tail, so the name suits my phage perfectly. |
