Discovery Notes | My soil sample was extremely dark, moist, and full of organic material. The air temperature was around 105 degrees F, but the ground temperature was not tested. My sample was collected from the top soil that was underneath a bush. The soil looked like it was hit by a sprinkler system often. Local soils tend to be alkaline, but this was not tested. |

Plaque Notes | My DNA sample has 47 kilobase pairs of DNA. My high titer lysate was 7.8 x 10^9 plaque forming units per milliliter. My plaques were consistently clear, and small. The phage presented two different sized plaques, always in the same ratio. The larger was around .2 cm and the smaller around .1 cm. |
