Discovery NotesThe soil samples I used to collect this phage are from St. Michael's Cemetery in Frostburg, Maryland. The soil sample type was sandy loam. Throughout these experiments, there have been many setbacks. However, this is a part of science. We have discovered how easy it is to contaminate things in the lab. We have had contamination multiple times but, we also try our best each time to prevent this from happening.
Naming NotesThe name "Nanashi" is the Japanese translation for the word "nameless", which means "something that doesn't have a name or identity".
